NEW YORK - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Johannesburg | Lagos―The New Partnership for Africa's Development Council (NEPAD Council) and Africa.com have taken another step in their partnership to bring all Africans online.

NEPAD Council's new website, built on the Africa.com domain, is focused on bringing together Africans, Diasporans and others interested to convene important discussions about Africa's development and issues. The new website was built to be the platform of a robust forum -- a place where conversations can take place about key African development issues.

"It was important for NEPAD Council to develop a new website in the continuation of our work to mobilize Africans, Diaspora and interested others to participate in the development of African countries and peoples. Digital technology is a useful tool to harness, direct and tap into globally distributed expertise, intelligence and knowledge to solve problems in, and to assist African countries", says Dr Adesina Iluyemi, NEPAD Council Board Member.

Africa.com is proud to have built the new website for NEPAD Council as a showcase of its new online suite of tools designed for the African market.  Africa.com's goal is to help small organizations throughout the continent get their voices online.  Africa.com CEO Teresa Clarke said, "NEPAD Council is an important and strategic organization because of its leadership in mobilizing global action in the development of Africa.  Having NEPAD Council choose Africa.com to build its new website is a great compliment to our development team."

Going forward, NEPAD Council and Africa.com will continue in their partnership efforts to bring affordable services to the small businesses, small NGOs, bloggers, artists, and professionals across the continent.  Digital connectivity to the global market is a key strategy to create jobs in Africa by opening up opportunities for cross border trade for small organization throughout the African continent.  Both NEPAD Council and Africa.com are deeply committed to developing these opportunities as part of Africa's development agenda.
