Veterans Affairs Secretary Plans To Improve Digital Service For Vets

NEW YORK - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- This Veterans Day we honor those who have so bravely served this counrty. America is founded on the principle of freedom, justice and liberty for all. Our nation's Soldiers serve daily to protect our country. On Veterans Day take a moment to remember those who sacrifice their lives every moment to achieve peace and democracy.

Veterans Day is equally important for non veterans because it is an opportunity for  Americans to learn more about the great sacrifices that have been made on their behalf especially during the past twelve years of war. The United States is now winding down the longest period of sustained combat in our history but America's obligations to those who answer the call to serve is only beginning.

Veterans need and deserve help as they make the transition from military to civilian life. We must ensure that Veterans are recieving the best care possible according to Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Mcdonald

The VA Secretary recently announced the VA's newest website  Explore VA. Mcdonald exclaims "its a good one stop information resource with videos and easy to understand instructions. Mcdonald also called for a geographic reorganization of how the department works with Veterans through its health, benefits and burial operations.The task is to allow Veterans to connect with the VA and get their needs addressed.
