Movement in Worship Winter Workshops

BRIGHTON, U.K. - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Christian group, Movement in Worship began in 1980 when Andy Au launched Movement in Worship out of Brighton. Here regular courses were held and slowly the group started to travel around the UK teaching and performing at various conferences with the aim of raising the profile of creativity in worship by modelling and inspiring others in movement and liturgical dance. Over the past 24 years conferences and training events have been held both nationally and internationally - countries visited include; Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, U.S.A. and teaching on YWAM schools of worship in various locations.

Movement In Worship now have bases all over the world, these are located in Brighton-England, Watford-England, Edinburgh-Scotland, Berlin-Germany, Chennai-India and Texas-USA. , .


Last year Movement in Worship took part in numerous events such as ‘Europe Ablaze’ in Lagos, Portugal - partnering with Psalm Drummers the aim of the event was to take worship outdoors. With Psalm Drummers, the ‘Life Begins with a Heartbeat’ workshop at Greenbelt festival attracted 500 participants to drum and dance through the site.

As winter 2014 approaches, each base has released dates for events for the coming months. The ‘Next Wave’ weekend on the 14^th- 16^th November allows for 48 hours of continual prayer and worship with an emphasis on facilitating a creative response to God during this time. The 48 hours allows for various worship leaders and musicians to bring their unique style and help facilitate free-flowing, participatory worship that involves the creative arts as well as prayer and prophecy.
