GATES Construction Garners Winning Trophy at FGCU Golf Benefit

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Nov. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Bonita Springs, FL  (November 6, 2014) – GATES Construction (www.GATESinc.com) enjoyed a round of golf with friends and business partners while supporting a very worthy cause.   The FGCU Founder’s Cup Golf Tournament was held at Pelican’s Nest Golf Club last month.  The event began with a buffet lunch followed by a four-player scramble tournament.  Afterward, the participants enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner buffet, silent-auction, and awards ceremony.

The GATES Construction team, led by Senior Project Manager Marco Petretta (shown on far left), won low gross on the Hurricane course.  This year’s event, attended by 208 golfers, brought in over $116,000 for student scholarships, teaching tools and educational programs.  The tournament’s 23-year history has resulted in more than $1.3 million that benefits students and the local community.
