Join FoodFight, the Whole Kids Foundation and Atlanta area school teachers for the Healthy Teacher Program.

The Healthy Teacher Program is a free, health & wellness workshop aimed at putting teachers on the front lines of the fight against diabetes & obesity.


(Atlanta, GA) November 15th, 2014 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Alonzo Crim High School 256 Clifton Street, SE. Kozmo Life Wellness in association with FoodFight, a NYC based nonprofit, in partnership with the Whole Kids Foundation, is hosting a workshop to arm teachers and school staff with the knowledge they need to make healthier eating and buying decisions, along with the tools necessary to create a culture of health and wellness in their schools.

At the workshop teachers will learn:
•  How marketing & branding shape our eating and buying habits
•  How to identify false food claims
•  Easy supermarket shopping and nutrition label reading strategies
•  10-steps to a healthy and vital life
•  Stress relief tips to get through a busy work day
•  Healthy recipes via an interactive demonstration by a Whole Foods Market Chef
