HOUSTON - Nov. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Pre release book Technical Writing – Technical Communication by Alicia Crowder became available to pre-order in eBook format on Amazon on November 5, 2014. Official release date for this technical writing instruction manual is December 31, 2014. By 6:30 a.m. November 6, 2014 this real world professional guidebook for technical writers was already shown on the Hot New Releases section and listed on page one of the top 100 best sellers list.

American author Alicia Crowder is well versed in the topic of technical writing having completed her first technical writing assignment 19 years prior to the release of this new book in the form of a software application user’s manual provided to instruct employees of the northern operations center of a major international retailer in the step-by-step actions to take in order to operate the new paperless processing system. Throughout the following two decades her career path required her to write and edit technical articles, manuals, methodologies, specifications, and other forms of technical communication in numerous industries within employee roles, as well as independently as a freelance and contract writer working in remote teams on a variety of different projects.

Technical Writing – Technical Communication is Crowder’s 16th published book, but the first one she professes to consider the true beginning of her career as a book author.

Alicia stated, “I’m really thrilled to finally be able to release Technical Writing – Technical Communication as a truly completed, thoroughly analyzed, and edited work I know can be very beneficial to anyone attempting to begin a career as a technical writer, whether independently, or as an employee.”

When questioned what makes this book so different from her other published books Crowder replied, “I have always wanted to write books in a variety of genres. Some of the other books I published are collections of very short stories. More recently I was very excited to start publishing my ‘for the n00b’ series of technology books. I made those available in eBook form for less than a dollar each while still in early versions, e.g. incomplete form, to discover how they were received by the general public. It was fabulous to find out that the concept of making computer programming educational materials more accessible and easy to learn through the use of a detailed, step-by-step approach that is more straight-forward than some of the other options available, and which does not gloss over some of the truly early learning details many other books ignore, was something the public desired as much as I did when I was working hard to learn various computer programming languages and applications.

I needed to complete this technical writing book first though, before I could turn my attention back to completing the ‘for the n00b’ series. I am excited both to be finally releasing this technical instruction book, and of course to discover how eager readers have been to receive it!”

Technical Writing – Technical Communication has been carefully crafted and developed to teach students of technical writing many details of the trade, how to manage the specific steps involved in creating quality technical documentation, how to protect their ability to maintain a career in the field of technical writing, to develop and secure their reputation as technical writers worth hiring for projects or as employees, how to grow and increase their skills in the profession of technical writing, and includes specific resources to aid the technical writer in their daily work.

This best-selling technical writing book remains available for pre-order until the official release date at the end of December 2014, at which time it will be available both in print and eBook format.
