UAE – China sees a steady 16% annual trade growth, placing China on top of Dubai’s trading partners in 2014

DUBAI, UAE - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Growing into the biggest Chinese products’ sourcing platform in the MENA region since its conception in 2010, China Homelife Dubai returns to Dubai – UAE this November 2014 (25 to 27) with the determination to further cohere the Chinese trade relations with the region and its emerging markets, introducing a new one-to-one customized VIP Hosted Buyers Program.

With a steady 16% annual trade growth, the UAE – China relations have been increasingly developing in scale and significance, having historically been mounted on high-level trade, while the China – Dubai trade constitutes 12% of the Emirate’s overall foreign trade, keeping pace with the salient boom in China’s trade, surpassing other economic forces in the volume of foreign trade and placing China on top of Dubai’s trading partners in 2014.

This year’s show will introduce a highly customized buyers program, through which local and regional buyers will be invited to one-to-one meetings with exhibitors, in the aim to support buyers in their search for qualified Chinese suppliers and business negotiations, all while facilitating the purpose of high quality Chinese companies in exploring the MENA region as a new export arena as they look to expand international business operations and source distribution partners.

This year’s China Homelife Dubai Exhibition will surpass 40% growth in exhibitors’ numbers reaching more than 1,000 and more than 10,000 visitors, spanning over the area of 20,000 sqm, showcasing a unique platform for Chinese companies exhibiting the latest household and home-related products, from furniture and interior décor, to textiles and garments, home and personal electronics, lighting, gifts items in addition to building materials, elevators and excavators.

UAE – China Trade Figures:

China is the second trading partner for Dubai (2013), with a total trade value amounting to AED 135 billion in 2013, with 18 per cent growth rate compared to the figures seen in 2012 which totaled AED 115 billion. China is also the top trading partner of Dubai in respect to imports, worth a total value of AED 130 billion.
