Hit Play Grows in Popularity as Leading Top 40 Band, Spanning a Variety of Eras and Musical Genres

WHEELING, W.Va. - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- With a growing Facebook page of nearly 1,300 since their start in February, 2012 the band ‘Hit Play’ is becoming the premiere cover band for all ages, leaving no sound or musical style untouched. The bands’ dynamic sounds rivals artists including Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, and The Beatles.

The band has already played in some of the top conferences, banquet rooms and clubs throughout West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio including:

About the band:

‘Hit Play’ is a 6-member band that was formed in 2012 by Ezra Hamilton, who is the voice and leader of the West Virginia-based cover band.’. Ezra has spent over 20 years of his life devoted to making music and has shared the stage with some of the music industry's brightest, such as Gavin DeGraw and Boyd Tinsley of Dave Matthews Band. He took the dynamic range of popular songs and began performing acoustic shows, which lead to the groups’ formation. The band consists of member Jon Banco; Saxophonist for West Virginian Festival Act, The Recipe, Eli Lambie; keyboardist and production assistant to Emmy Award Producer/Composer and Member of The B.E. Taylor bandJamie Peck, Jason Treuman; the Nashville session musician who has worked with The Memphis Horns, Reese Wynans of Stevie Ray & Double Trouble, Pittsburgh native Rock Songstress Shari Richards, vocalist and guitarist Gregg Molnar, and renowned drummer Jason Birch.
