Distinguished Author Jeanne Moldenhauer explains Sterilisation & Validation Processes

LONDON - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Pharmaceutical microbiology is of critical importance to the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical drugs, biologics and devices. Set to take place on the 21st and 22nd January 2015, the Pharmaceutical Microbiology conference will aim to provide a vision into evolving methods in the prevention, detection and management of microorganisms.

Distinguished Author Jeanne Moldenhauer will be just one of the key speakers at the 4^th annual show next year. With over 30 years’ experience in pharmaceutical microbiology, sterilisation, quality assurance and regulatory affairs, Jeanne will be sharing her expertise in a presentation entitled: Development and Management of Sterilisation and Validation Processes.

Attendees will receive guidance on setting up an environmental program, ways to prevent contamination and methods to deal with contamination problems.

When asked what she thought the biggest challenges in the industry were Jeanne commented:

“The lack of time available to upgrade or research new methods, lack of funding for projects outside of routine production and lack of management support”

Jeanne Moldenhauer who is also the Vice President of consulting service Excellent Pharma Consulting, will also be hosting a pre-conference workshop alongside BGH International CEO, Brian Hubka.

The workshop entitled: Setting up an Environmental Monitoring Programme to Meet Global Requirements, will focus on the various considerations in establishing an environmental monitoring and go into further depth into contamination control, investigation methods and remediation.
