Follow on Google News | Virginia Western Community College to host FIRST® LEGO® League teams SaturdayBy: FIRST® LEGO® League The Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC) is pleased to be a sponsor of the event. Beginning at 9 a.m., 13 teams of children ages 9 to 14 will gather in the Fralin Center for Science and Health Professions as part of a new challenge called FLL WORLD CLASSSM. Teamwork challenges and research presentations will be performed before judges and high-scoring teams could advance to the Virginia-DC Championship, which will be held in Harrisonburg during December. This free event, open to the public, also is sponsored by Virginia Western Community College and the Tuxedo Pandas. Can’t make it Saturday, but still want to experience FLL?
