Braindigit releases SageFrame 3.1, an open source community version CMF

KATHMANDU, Nepal - Nov. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- The new upgraded version of SageFrame is ready to hit the market with enhanced features. There are no new features introduced in this version but the residing features have been boosted by fixing all the bug problems and making it faster than before. The major focus for this release was to present a minor version of SageFrame that is bug free and prepare for the next release in order to have a better impact on the public. SageFrame 3.1 has worked on some features of SageFrame 3.0 and has made it better like the application upgrader, online module installation, module management extension, scheduler and some others as well. The changes that have been applied in SageFrame 3.1 are explained below in detail.

Ø  Application Upgrader

Ø  The Application Upgrader has been introduced in the new SageFrame which is a feature that is going to stay with all the future releases. This upgrader consists of a zip file that the users have to place in the Upgrade section present in the Top Sticky bar. After the file is installed, user will see the new version on the sticky bar. This file will upgrade users’ system to the newest and the latest version. This zip file can later be used for future releases as well. Also, smaller modules can be upgraded similarly by installing the zip files.

Ø  Scheduler

The Scheduler has been refined successfully in this version and runs effectually than before. With the Scheduler, the users can predefine a specific task that should run at a specific time. Then at the defined time, the task will automatically begin without any supervision or command of any sort. This makes the activities easier and effective by saving time and utilizing that time to do other important tasks.

Ø  Online Module Installation

In the earlier version, there were a limited number of modules that were present in the system. But now the users can download as many modules as they want online and customize their site accordingly. All the pages can be given a new and attractive look by using the online modules. The drag-and-drop feature is used to place the modules wherever desired in the page.

Ø  Bug Fixing

The whole system has gone through a thorough check under the scan for bug fixing. This ensures that the system is free of bugs and errors of any kind. With this in check, the application run more smoothly and efficiently as compared to the previous versions.

Ø  Performance Optimization

SageFrame 3.1 has not added any new distinguishing feature but the system has been made more efficient and productive. The CSS has been optimized that resulted for the system to load a bit faster.

The above mentioned are the few changes that have been made in SageFrame 3.1. This being a minor version, the goal of this release was to familiarize the market and the users with the system and prepare them for the next version.
