About the Author: First-time author Martin Carter grew up in Inchicore, a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. “My godson inspired me by asking me a question when he was only three years of age. We were walking in a local city park and passed by a little stream with lots of tiny little bugs milling around. My godson asked what the bugs were doing flying on top of the water. I told him they were not really bugs, and when no one was around, they would turn into magical woodland fairies. The seed was planted and the story grew.”
