The Yog Bar Becomes 1st Frozen Yogurt Shop in the UK to Receive Swirl of Honor Designation

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- The Yog Bar has been awarded the highest honor, three swirls, and it becomes the first in the UK to join the International Frozen Yogurt Association (IFYA)’s Swirl of Honor^TM Program. The Yog Bar is located at 4 Market St., Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 2AE, UK.

The Swirl of Honor^TM Program was launched by the IFYA in late 2013 to recognize excellence in frozen yogurt. As the first and only quality seal program specifically for frozen yogurt stores, the IFYA developed stringent quality standards and evaluates shops based on frozen yogurt quality, store cleanliness, superior customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices. Recipients receive one to three Swirls (1 = good, 2 = very good, 3 = excellent) based on how they meet IFYA standards. The program helps consumers identify the best frozen yogurt shops.

Stephanie and Charlotte Hodson, sisters who run The Yog Bar in the small town of Hoylake on The Wirral, say it’s a dream come true! Since they opened their shop almost a year ago, they always wanted to be up there with the top American Frozen Yogurt chains and they believe with the help of the Swirl of Honour programme, they have achieved that!
