GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. promotes John C. Murphy, CCM, CHMM to Senior Principal

BEDFORD, N.H. - Nov. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that John C. Murphy, CCM, CHMM, of Derry, New Hampshire, has been promoted to Senior Principal.

Murphy, who serves as GZA’s Northern New England District Office Manager, operating from the company’s Bedford, NH office, has been with the firm for 26 years.

His areas of specialization are construction management, cost estimating, facility closures/demolition, hazardous materials management and site remediation. He also manages a variety of building related services for GZA, including property condition assessments, asbestos, lead, pcb and microbial investigations and remediation.

Murphy earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.

Murphy has served on the Board of Directors of GZA for the past five years and as a Salvation Army Advisory Board member for a decade.  His professional activities include involvement with the Associated General Contractors and the Associated Builders & Contractors of NH.
