NaMaYa Awards $10,000 No Child Held Back Education Innovation Grant to Republic School District

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nov. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- NaMaYa, Inc. has awarded its first 2014/2015 No Child Held Back Education Innovation Grant to Republic School District in Republic, Missouri in support of their goal to create project based learning labs across the district.

“Our mission is to develop a rigorous learning culture in our building, while developing 21^st Century Skills in our students,” stated Stephanie Long, Educational Technology Specialist at Republic Middle School. “Through Project Based Learning, our students can present relevant learning and outcomes to community members and parents. Our teachers will be going through extensive professional development thoughout the year to develop their skills related to PBL.”

The grant includes installation and use of NaMaYa’s education technology platform, training in Project Based Learning for teachers within the school through a professional development course offered by NaMaYaPD, facilitated by Project Based Learning expert, Dr. Thom Markham, and on-going technical support for the implementation of the learning lab.
