CyberAlert PR Grants Program for Non-Profits Now Accepting Applications for 2015

Grant Awards One Year of Free Media Monitoring to Non-Profits

STRATFORD, Conn. - Nov. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- After awarding $70,000 worth of media monitoring services to grant recipients last year, CyberAlert LLC has announced that applications are now open for the 2015 PR Grants Program.

CyberAlert’s annual grants program awards qualifying non-profit organizations with free media monitoring services for an entire year. The services in the program include online news monitoring, social media monitoring and TV news monitoring.  Last year, 15 non-profit organizations received media monitoring grants from CyberAlert.

All not-for-profit organizations worldwide are eligible to receive a 2015 PR Grant except previous recipients. Interested non-profit organizations should apply before December 31 using the online PR Grants application form (http://www.cyberalert.com/grantsX.html) on CyberAlert’s website.

Since the start of the PR Grants Program’s in 2004, CyberAlert has awarded nearly 200 media monitoring grants to various non-profits. The grants are given to a wide range of charitable organizations in education, healthcare services and research, the environment, youth development, recreation, and other public services. The CyberAlert website contains a complete list of previous CyberAlert PR grant recipients (http://www.cyberalert.com/pr-grant-award-recipients.html).

Child Trends, a non-profit that provides research and communications on issues affecting young children, was awarded a 2014 PR grant and has benefited greatly from the program, according to Frank Walter, the organization’s vice president of communications.

“We rely daily on CyberAlert to spot mentions of Child Trends in media stories in the U.S. and around the world,” Walters said. “They do a great job of catching and sharing our news and are a valuable resource for the success of our communications function.”

William Comcowich, president and CEO of CyberAlert, said he’s happy to see the grants program is still helping non-profits worldwide after 11 years running.

“The PR Grants Program is CyberAlert’s social responsibility program — our way of saying ‘Thank you’ and providing a service to organizations that help the community and can benefit from our services,” Comcowich said.

CyberAlert is accepting grant applications through December 31 and will announce the 2015 grant recipients in January. Non-profits can fill out an application online via CyberAlert’s website (http://www.cyberalert.com/grantsX.html).
