‘Water: More Valuable than Oil?’ on Adelphi University’s Award-Winning Exploring Critical Issues

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Nov. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- (Garden City, NY, October 2014)  Exploring Critical Issues, the award-winning televised series conceived and hosted by Adelphi University President Robert A. Scott, opens the season with a discussion by expert panelists on the scarcity of a resource we don’t necessarily think about – clean water – and the many challenges this poses. The latest show, entitled “Water: More Valuable than Oil?,” will air for two weeks premiering on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 10:00 PM.

“Some have said that water is the new “oil” in terms of scarcity,” said Adelphi University President Dr. Robert A. Scott.  “I believe that the first step in better water management is awareness.  In that regard, our latest program will examine not only how we use water and manage it, but whether efforts across the globe and here in the U.S. have been successful in conserving and desalinating water, and the host of factors that affect the very quality of our water today.  I look forward to sharing this information with our viewers.”
