New Technologies are Making Their Mark on Business World Says IT Entrepreneur

In fact, d3t’s unique skills are in such demand that the three years old company now makes its expert services available to clients across the UK and around the world.

“One of the best examples of this is Carrot Insurance from Crewe, who use the latest technology to offer younger drivers very competitively priced insurance policies,” explained Mr Campbell. “They use another Crewe-based company called Trak Global to supply telematics devices forinstallationinto the cars of young clients to remotely monitor their driving.

“Carrot rewards good driving behaviour with reduced premiums, so the system offers significant incentives to young drivers to drive sensibly and safely.”

d3t is now a technology partner for both Trak and Carrot, having been commissioned to develop back-end web technologies and improve software offerings for the insurer.

Last October Carrot was awarded the Best Customer Experience Award at the Insurance Technology Awards for its on-line Driving Style Dashboard – developed by d3t. And earlier this year the company was nominated forthe Best Digital Initiative prize at the British Insurance Awards for a smart-phone app which was also developed by d3t.
