Shelter Our Pets - Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair Fundraiser 11/15/14

MONTVALE, N.J. - Nov. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Shelter Our Pets, a New Jersey nonprofit whose mission is to provide a safe haven for the pets of victims of domestic violence who are fleeing their abusive situations, will be hosting our second Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 15th, featuring local crafters, artisans and vendors with unique, one-of-a-kind wares, including handmade jewelry, artwork, accessories, and home decor. The event, hosted in conjunction with the GFWC Paskack Junior Woman's Club and Rock and Rawhide will take place at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Avenue in Westwood, New Jersey from 10am to 4pm.  There will be goodie bags for the first 50 customers in the door!  There will also be a baked goods and refreshment table at the event for attendees.   Proceeds raised from this event will fund Shelter Our Pets foster care program. There will also be a 50/50 raffle sponsored by the GFWC Paskack Junior Woman’s Club, benefiting Shelter Our Pets. Tickets for this raffle are $10 each. Winner need not be present to win. Tickets can be purchased at the Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair or in advance by mail or by downloading a form from Shelter Our Pets’ website ShelterOurPets.org. The drawing is November 15, 2014 at 3PM EST, during the Holiday Bazaar and Craft Fair at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Avenue in Westwood, New Jersey. This is a 50/50 cash raffle and three prizes will be awarded with a total prize amount of 50% of the amount received for all tickets.  Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place- 30%, 2nd place - 15% and 3rd place- 5%.  No substitution of the offered prize may be made.

During the event Rock and Rawhide, will be collecting new and gently used pet items which will be distributed to Shelter Our Pets and other area animal welfare groups.   Visitors are encouraged to bring items like kongs, nylabones, touch chew toys, cat toys, cat scratch pads, blankets and towels (clean), pet treats (new and unopened) and gift cards.

Participating vendors include area artisans Willows Treasures, Round Lake Pottery, Unrooted Air Plants, Fun Frames, Magnets Handcrafted By Cathy, Palpitations Designs, Soul of, JOZ, Shirley's Wearable Art, YanYan Jewelry, Zoeybens Scarfs and Headbands, Distinctive Styles by Danielle, BL Creations, MLJ Paws Design, Anne Woodman Jewelry Design, Aunt Vikcy’s Bicky’s, Piggy Book savings books and Krucial cosmetics.  Several other vendors will also be present including Mary Kay representative Carolan Prisco.

Shelter Our Pets Holiday Bazaar is sponsored by BL Creations, Black Dog Plumbing in Dumont and D’s Grooming Shop in Hillsdale.
