The Emergency Assistance Service Effort (EASE), founded in 1988, is a non-profit founded by the business community and residents of Davie. The foundation aids qualified residents, on a one time basis, that are in need of temporary emergency assistance. The goal is to help those in need to ease their way back into a self-sustaining, productive life. The foundation’s focus is to prevent homelessness, but also assist the homeless with food, clothing and hygiene supplies.
