Tempe Company "Moved" to Combat Autism

TEMPE, Ariz. - Nov. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- As owner of Get Your Move On, LLC, a local moving company,Derek Greene is used to helping others. When his own son was diagnosed with autism in 2009, Greene was moved to help raise funds to combat the disorder which affects 1 in 64 children in Arizona, according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).

For the “Walk Now for Autism Speaks,” held October 25th in Tempe, the company donated over $10,000 in logistical support in setting up the event and for bottled water. Attendance was over 20,000. In 2013, Greene was Chairman for the annual walk and raised over 1.8 million in donations, the largest amount ever received in Arizona.
