Hummingbird and Aeonmed Medical Sign Multi-year Agreement

CROWBOROUGH, U.K. - Nov. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Hummingbird Sensing Technology, a leading manufacturer of gas sensing technologies for medical and industrial markets, has signed a multi-year agreement with Beijing-based Aeonmed, one of the leading Chinese manufacturers of Anesthesia Machine and Critical Care ventilators.

The Hummingbird Micro paramagnet sensor, selected for its high reliability, non-depleting and environmental safe design and cost effectiveness to the end user has been designed into Aeonmed’s new high-end anesthesia machine 8700A, which recently received regulatory approval and launched into the Chinese market and is CE marked for EU clinical requirements.

This is a further example of how the development of Hummingbird’s innovative paramagnetic sensors for greater flexibility and easier integration in line with advances in medical equipment design is benefitting Hummingbird’s OEM medical manufacturing partners.
