Softtek Opens New Global Delivery Center in Brazil

FORTALEZA, Brazil - Oct. 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Softtek, founder of the nearshore industry and leading global IT services provider dedicated to maximizing the value of applications, announced today the opening of a new Global Delivery Center (GDC) in the city of Fortaleza in the northeast region of Brazil. The facility has been built in partnership with local university Universidade de Fortaleza (Unifor), as well as support from governments of the city of Fortaleza and the state of Ceará.

Softtek has a 20-year history in the Brazilian market, providing IT and digital business transformation services to organizations in different industries, including oil & gas, retail, banking and government. Softtek serves its clients through its trademarked Global Nearshore™ model, which pairs world-class execution with global proximity, and is enabled by a network of GDCs located in the US, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, China, India and Brazil. Softtek’s new GDC in Fortaleza will start operations in November 2014, with a plan to host 1,500 professionals by 2017.
