ATLANTA - Oct. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- A casting notice on IMDb received 72 replies from actors and other professionals interested in participating in the production: https://pro-labs.imdb.com/casting/notice/no2529570932?s=d2a4afae-bb26-4fc7-1f2f-9bbecb741dec. To raise money for food or equipment, a KickStarter campaign was created for this project, which can be found here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/820461906/zero-budget-film-in-atlanta-needs-donations. So far there haven't been any donations, but perhaps they will come in if you help to spread the word. Scouting for free private locations has begun and soon both cast and locations will be in place.

This project is also unique because instead of writing a script and looking for a cast and crew to fit it, we are moving in the opposite direction. The project is being organized by Anaphora’s Director/ Owner, Dr. Anna Faktorovich, who previously wrote and produced a 37-minutes short, "My Sister, the Psychopath." She also has a PhD and taught college English for 3 years before focusing on running Anaphora. She will make this film with a Walmart digital camera, if no funding materializes. It is our belief that keeping the budget to a minimum and offering a percentage split to the cast and crew is a great motivator for producing a potentially award-winning film.

Anaphora Literary Press has published over 100 creative and non-fiction books. Among these is the Pennsylvania Literary Journal, a tri-annual journal, available through EBSCO and ProQuest, which has published interviews with best-selling authors, such as Larry Niven, Cinda Williams Chima and Carrie Ryan, as well as the winners of the Sundance Film Festival. Here is the link to the 2014 Anaphora Catalog, https://app.box.com/s/p5pcrs7228ey3cyyx77k, with descriptions of Anaphora’s titles. This information is also available in the html catalog on the Anaphora website at http://anaphoraliterary.com/.

Anna Faktorovich: is the Director and Founder of the Anaphora Literary Press. Previously, she taught college English for three years at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and the Middle Georgia State College. She has a Ph.D. in English Literature and Criticism. She published two academic books: Rebellion as Genre in the Novels of Scott, Dickens and Stevenson (McFarland, 2013) and The Formulas of Popular Fiction: Elements of Fantasy, Science Fiction, Romance, Religious and Mystery Novels (McFarland, 2014). Her other publications include: two poetry collections: Improvisational Arguments (Fomite Press, 2011) and Battle for Athens (Anaphora, 2012), historical novels: The Romances of George Sand (Anaphora, 2014) and the forthcoming, The Battle for Democracy (Anaphora, 2015), fantasy novellas: The Great Love of Queen Margaret, the Vampire (Grim’s Labyrinth, 2014) and The Campaigns against the Olden: Kindoms of Laruta (Grim’s Labyrinth, 2014), an illustrated children’s book, The Sloths and I (Anaphora, 2013), and the Book Production Guide (Anaphora, 2014). She has been editing and writing for the independent, tri-annual Pennsylvania Literary Journal since 2009.
