Follow on Google News | Carlisle Auctions Returns to Festival Park for a Two-Day OfferingCollector Car Excitement to Run November 14-15 as part of Fall AutoFest
By: Carlisle Events The auction has a preview day on November 13 and is held in and around the auction building which is located onsite at Festival Park. Auction fun starts each day at 9:30 a.m. and runs until about 5 p.m. each night. Further, 10 select spotlight cars will cross the block beginning at 12 p.m. and running each half hour. Admission to the auction is free with an admission to Fall AutoFest which is just $10 daily (kids 12 and under are free). Once within the auction area at Festival Park, enthusiasts can enjoy thrilling collector car action, much like what they witness frequently on TV. Cars, trucks and motorcycles will sell at varying prices and there will be something for everyone. Lots may range from the high four figures to mid six figures. Getting involved is easy too. With Carlisle Auctions revolutionary FREE UNLESS SOLD policy, consigning a car could not be easier. While certain obligations are required on the front end of the process, ultimately if a consigned car does not sell, the owner receives all deposits back related to the consignment. Having this unique policy in place helps price cars to sell and helps better connect seller with buyer. Ultimately, it not only increases the quality of cars offered within the auction, but also the quantity of cars available too. Speaking of which, this year’s Fall AutoFest Auction is expected to be limited to just over 300 consignments. Within the lot of 300+ will be some very unique cars. The more rare ones include a 1954 Corvette (year two production) that was found in pieces and restored over a seven-year period. More impressive is that it was assembled using factory/original parts whenever possible to maintain originality. Another gem from the 1950s that will cross the block is a 1956 Jaguar Street Rod. This extremely unique street rod has been assembled with nothing but the best hot rod parts available. It has won numerous awards including best in class at the Festival of Speed at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. It was also singled out and signed by well known hot rod builder Chip Foose. In addition, there is a cool 1980 Datsun 280 ZX 2+2. This car is being moved by its original owner and will include its bill of sale and all paperwork from when it was brand new. This car is in excellent condition and is a true piece of automotive history.
