Phillips Staffing CEO Named to South Carolina Chamber Board of Directors

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Oct. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce has named Blanton Phillips, President and CEO of Phillips Staffing, to its 2014-2015 Board of Directors.  With ten offices spanning the Palmetto State and Georgia, Phillips Staffing is one of the region’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solution providers.

Before becoming CEO of Phillips Staffing in 2009, Mr. Phillips has held a number of key roles in the organization he joined in 1991. He has overseen substantial growth of the company, as well as diversification into supplemental business lines and services that have made Phillips an industry leader and innovator in the Southeast.

Mr. Phillips earned a B.A. degree from Duke University and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. He serves on numerous boards, including the Board of Directors of GrandSouth Bank, SubAir Systems, Meridian Resources, and various other business and civic organizations. He is active in state and national staffing industry associations and multiple chambers of commerce.
