Follow on Google News | Flagler County Business Woman of the Year AnnouncedBy: Trish Giaccone "We may have broken the mold selecting Dr. Lusinski as our Woman of the Year," said Trish Giaccone, the chapter’s current president. “Her story is one of overcoming what seem like impossible odds, earning multiple college degrees, building a successful business, founding a non-profit organization that helps children globally, and all while raising a family…and did I mention her golf handicap is an 11?” Giaccone jokes. Dr. Lusinski made her way out of communist Poland in 1982 when she was just 22 years old. She went on the earn her degree in Business Administration, as well as her bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in Christian Ministry and Religion Studies. She founded Re-Birth International Ministries that coordinates feeding programs in Zambia, India, Malawi, Bolivia, and Peru, building and supporting orphanages and organizing international missionary teams. She is fluent in English, Polish and Ukrainian, and conversational in Russian. She owns Chardani Building & Remodeling Company and is a certified building contractor in the state of Florida as well as a licensed real estate agent. She is also involved in local organizations such as the United Way Women’s Initiative, Florida Hospital 20/20 Society and more. Flagler Business Women, Inc. is a non-profit community based organization committed to providing support to women to reach their potential. Flagler Business Women’s mission is to empower women in their quest for personal and professional growth.
