Smart Marketing Concepts, Inc. Receives DBE Certification

OLDSMAR, Fla. - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Smart Marketing Concepts, Inc. is thrilled to announce that the company has received certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in the state of Florida. DBE’s are small businesses that are at least 51% owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Certification as a DBE signifies that Smart Marketing Concepts is majority owned, operated, and controlled by a minority individual and ensures that the company can compete fairly for federally-funded transportation projects.

Smart Marking Concepts currently operates two subsidiary companies to serve both the government and public sectors, SMC Software and RESERVEC respectively.  SMC Software is a member of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC). AMAC is the only national, non-profit trade association dedicated to promoting the full participation of minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/DBEs) in airport contracting and the inclusion of minorities and women in employment.
