LOS ANGELES - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- October 29, 2014 - The first-ever consumer awareness campaign focused exclusively on asset-based long term care insurance solutions will be undertaken by the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance.

"There is increased interest in products like life insurance and annuities that do double duty, providing long-term care insurance benefits," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance http://www.aaltci.org.   "Our goal is to make more consumers aware of these products as a viable solution."

The Association announced plans to create a special insert that will be included in a future issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.

"People most interested in asset based long term care insurance products are financially savvy planners, so this is an ideal medium to deliver important information," Slome noted.  The campaign will be supported by one or more leading insurance companies.  "It's a very cost effective way to reach two million magazine readers as well as have opportunities to extend the message through the company's agents and brokers."

The Association has a special insert appearing in the December issue of Kiplinger's.  "This insert focused on traditional long term care insurance," Slome explains.  "The new insert for 2015 will exclusively focus on asset-based solutions."

Based in Los Angeles, the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance was founded in 1998 to create heightened consumer awareness and to support insurance agents and financial professionals who market various products that address long term care expenses.   For information on participating in the special section, call the organization at 818-597-3227.  Consumers seeking to compare long term care insurance costs can visit the Association's website.
