Guildford, UK,  28 October 2014 – Supply chain specialist and Microsoft Gold Certified ISV Partner AGR has announced the appointment of Alan Iles as a consultant in its expanding services team.  Alan joins AGR from SPACE.NK.apothecary the British cosmetics retailer and Space Brands Ltd, where he held the position of IT Specialist responsible for the implementation of AGR Inventory Optimiser in the UK and US retail businesses.

Alan brings to AGR over thirteen years’ experience of working in the supply chain and logistics industry. His most recent responsibilities included deploying AGR Inventory Optimiser with manufacturing functionality to the wholesale side of SPACE.NK.apothecary’s business, as well as the design and testing of Microsoft Dynamics NAV system for the US operation. Alan has acquired knowledge of many technology systems used in the sector since beginning his career in warehouse operations and logistics, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AGR Inventor Optimiser and AGR Sales Planner, Microsoft SQL and SAP (Warehouse and Fulfilment).

Alan said, “My ambition has always been to move into consultancy and with my career in the supply chain and logistics sector plus a love of IT, it was a perfect fit to join AGR.
