SBA and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida to Commit to Small Business Development

 
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The U.S. Small Business Administration South Florida District signed a Strategic Alliance Memorandum (SAM) with Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida on Oct. 23.

The purpose of this SAM agreement is to develop and foster mutual understanding and a working relationship between SBA and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and to foster small business development and expansion.

“We look forward to helping entrepreneurs better connect to the SBA as they have a variety of services and resources that can help them grow their businesses,” said Elliott Rittenhouse, Director of MicroEnterprise. “Though we have worked with the SBA in the past, we are delighted to formalize the relationship in order to have an even greater impact.”

SBA South Florida District and its resource partners provide capital, counseling services and contracting opportunities to entrepreneurs and small business owners to start and expand small businesses that create new jobs.

The SAM will remain in effect for two years.
