Waypoint Films Teams With Denver Agency, Meme, to Shoot Profile Videos for Janus Capital Group

BOULDER, Colo. - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Waypoint Films, a leading video production company based in Boulder, Colorado, was selected by Denver, Colorado advertising agency, Meme, to shoot three corporate profile videos for client, Janus Capital Group. Janus Capital Group has a longstanding relationship with Meme and Waypoint Films is one of Meme’s trusted production resources.

Janus Capital Group wanted to produce season non-specific, lifestyle profile videos. Since it was currently winter at the Denver location of the client’s office, the decision was made to shoot in Southern California. Waypoint Films was tasked with finding local San Diego, California cast and crew, as well as multiple locations to help tell these stories.

Says Meme President and Creative Director, Dean Del Calzo, “When we were asked to bring to life some client experiences for Janus Capital Group, we turned to Waypoint Films because of their experience in capturing lifestyle. We needed to cram in a lot of different set-ups and locations so everything needed to run like clockwork. So, in spite of filming small children, using animal wranglers and trainers, along with a variety of other incidental props, the shoot couldn't have gone any smoother. In fact, Waypoint Films made it possible to capture some bonus footage we hadn't planned on.”

Jed Mortenson, Waypoint Film’s Producer, adds, “We have done several video projects with Meme and love working with them. This opportunity allowed us to tell three personal stories through lifestyle footage combined with actual interviews. The cast and crew in San Diego were also top notch and greatly contributed to the success of the project.”
