Realty check for City of Costa Mesa voters 2014

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Katrina Foley, candidate for the 2014 Costa Mesa City Council, has an accomplished public service record over the last 15 years as she tends to always give practical and thoughtful consideration to all projects and programs she becomes involved with.  Her list of accomplishment in public service is extensive.

When she last served on the city council, her voting record proved that she supported conservative fiscal management of resources by eliminating wasteful spending & unnecessary legal expenses, collaborating with the City of Costa Mesa employees to find solutions to reduce costs yet still provide fair compensation & quality services, and that she favored modernization and infrastructure projects that gave value to Costa Mesa neighborhoods.  Her concern for the quality of life for resident families seems to have always been a priority in her decision-making processes.

In a recent declaration made on her Facebook page, she stated "I will continue to prioritize improvements to parks & athletic facilities for our families, affordable & quality senior housing options & activities, a thriving business district, partnerships with our business & travel partners to promote Costa Mesa as a tourist destination, enhancement to & support for our Newport Blvd motels & businesses to complement South Coast Plaza, SOCO, SOBECA, & Metro Point as a family oriented tourist destination near the OC Fair & Beaches. I will prioritize beautification & investment in infrastructure to support a bike trail system that travels from UCI to the beach, investment in & partnerships with our neighborhoods for entrance beautification & traffic calming projects, balanced & smart growth & development that considers traffic & parking & the quality of life for existing as well as future residents."

Foley has a strong public service record and sincerely cares about the City of Costa Mesa and its residents. No amount of bashing, in any form, seems to stop her from serving her community.  She volunteers her time for numerous civic organizations, including the Costa Mesa High School Foundation, where she is currently serving as President.
