Retina Specialists Welcomes Dr. Sejal Shah

NEW YORK - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Retina Specialists, PC welcomes Dr. Sejal Shah. Dr. Shah bring her expertise as a medical retinal specialist with skills in managing and treating vitreoretinal pathology which includes age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, venous occlusive disease, and peripheral retinal pathology.

Completing her undergraduate degree in an honors program from the University of Florida, Dr. Shah went on to obtain her medical degree and a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida then completed a medical retina fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

Dr. Shah's  past and active research interests include indepth studies of anti-VEGF intravitreal injections, optic pit maculopathy, and graft-verses-host disease. Her presentation to the West Coast of Florida Regional Ophthalmology, included meeting on topics such as white dot mystery, keratoprosthesis and glaucoma, neovascular glaucoma, and neuroretinitis and Dr Shah's research has appeared in publications such as Clinical Ocular Oncology, Survey of Ophthalmology, International Ophthalmology Clinics and Survey of Ophthalmology.
