What's the difference between Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 1?

It has a 1080p HD camera built-in, Phantom 1 carries GoPro (You can't replace the camera with other camera, because Vision camera is intergrated with the drone)
Came with a a FPV System built-in, it transfers video to your smart phone (iOS / Android) thru Wi-Fi (300m range from factory spec, 250m from our test), Phantom 1 does not have FPV.
You can have another guy holding the smart phone (iOS / Android), use the Motion Control mode on the DJI app, tilt the phone and the camera will follow your Tilting and the Drone will follow your yaw movement, that's the first we've ever seen!
Phantom 2 Vision can fly for 25 minutes (Wow!!! That's long...), Phantom 1 with GoPro can only fly for 8~9 minutes.
It transfer flight data and display on your smart phone (iOS / Android), Phantom 1 does not have this function, very useful because you get to see battery level and drone's altitude.
It uses heavy lifting propellers, shape is different from Phantom 1.
Phantom 2 Vision uses special battery cartridge, cannot use other batteries. (Yep, Phantom 1 battery will NOT fit)
Phantom 2 Vision has a 5.8Ghz Transmitter, not 2.4Ghz anymore.
Phantom 2 Vision has Camera Angle Compensation, you tilt the drone, and the camera will try to remain level, but not too quick as brushless gimbal, this is useful when you move the drone forward or backward without the camera pointing to the ground and the sky.

The biggest difference from ordinary DJI Phantom (That means Phantom 1), the Phantom 2 Vision has a camera built-in, it is integrated with the Drone, the tilt angle is adjustable thru your phone wirelessly, the camera transfers video feed to your smart phone (iOS / Android) with almost no latency through Wi-Fi signal, range is about 300m (this is very long for Wi-Fi, thanks to the Video Range Extender, that's the small white box that came with the package), and the camera angle will move automatically to compensate drone's body tilting, this gives you a more stable video footage. Of cause, it can record photo and video, all goes into a Micro SD Card (included).

Because of Wi-Fi communication, the drone is talking to iPhone continuously, not only the Video feeds, the drone is also sending flight data to your smart phone (iOS / Android), you will see useful info such as battery level (very useful), drone's position from Home Point, altitude data and horizontal data.... this is actually a On Screen Display function which you need to pay for using on the Phantom 1.

Phantom 2 Vision is a totally different product with the Phantom 1, simply saying, the Phantom 2 Vision is a Flying Camera which works for 25 minutes non stop, this is the Phantom 1 can't do. Beside the camera thing, the Phantom 2 Vision gives you real time flight data and video feeds, that makes the flight more interesting. Only down side is you cannot swap the built-in camera to a GoPro, but hey, it's a 1080p HD camera already. So if you have the budget, Phantom 2 Vision will not disappoint you.
