Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison Taps Ashley Sawyer as Associate

Family law firm Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison today announced that Ashley Sawyer has joined the firm as an associate.

“We’re delighted to have Ashley join the firm,” said HHCM managing partner Hannibal Heredia. “Her extensive experience in the practice of family law makes her a valuable addition to our team.”

Sawyer currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Her list of professional accolades and accomplishments also includes:

She is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Family Law, Council of Younger Lawyers and Women in the Profession Sections of the Atlanta Bar Association. With the State Bar of Georgia she is a member of the Family Law section and the Young Lawyers division.

Before joining HHCM, Sawyer was an associate at Waggoner Hastings LLC and Levine Smith Snider & Wilson. She worked for two years as the Staff Attorney to the Honorable C. LaTain Kell of the Superior Court of Cobb County, giving her an invaluable perspective that she brings to each of her family law cases.

Sawyer received her JD from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2008. While there, she was a member of the Moot Court Board, was selected by her professors to serve as a Caruthers Fellow for the 1L legal writing program, and volunteered at Birmingham elementary schools teaching introductory legal principles.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications.

A Marietta native, Sawyer now lives in Alpharetta with her husband, David, where they are active members of North Point Community Church.
