Pre-Production for the Comedic Short "Cheapo" Has Begun

DALLAS - Oct. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Pre-production for the independent, low-budget comedic short, "Cheapo," is now underway in North Texas.

"Cheapo" reunites veteran actor Mark T. Lee ("Friday Night Lights" TV series, "Bail Out," "The Rift," "I Am Alive:  Surviving the Andes Plane Crash," "Oldworld," "The Leak," "Stay-at-Home Dads") in the lead role of "Cheapo" and writer/director Stuart Brick ("Exsanguination," "Stay-at-Home Dads").

Expected to have a total runtime less than sixty minutes, "Cheapo" is a brief blunt portrayal of a day in the life of a nameless, thrift-driven curmudgeon loner tormented by his odd insurmountable compulsion to save money.

"Cheapo" with be shot in 1080/60p high-definition digital video with 5.1 surround sound.

Projected to be completed circa mid 2015, the finished production will be submitted to film festivals all across the U.S.A. for consideration.
