Did you know that the National Value of 1 hour of volunteer service equals $22.55? This value is typically used by nonprofits to demonstrate the valued rate of support they receive from local volunteers in their communities. Simply put, an hour of volunteer service provides a nonprofit organization with $22.55 worth of FREE help. That's A LOT of financial savings!

This year marks the 3rd Annual Volunteer Delray event that will take place Friday, November 14, from 5 to 7 pm, prior to one of the Free Friday night concert Series at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts. This event is FREE to the public and provides the perfect opportunity for our own citizens to meet local nonprofits, learn about volunteer opportunities and discover potential Board of Director openings. The Expo format allows attendees to really match their personality, their time and availability, as well as their passion for a cause and to be a proponent of a nonprofit that is looking for volunteers.

Volunteer Delray will have over 30 different nonprofit vendors at the Old School Square Pavilion, set up in the breezeway by the stage at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts. A printed list of the nonprofits participating will be provided to attendees with a stated mission and contact information for each organization. All community residents and businesses are invited to come learn how they can volunteer with/and support local nonprofit organizations.
