Perfect for Engraving - Beautiful and Rare English Trophy Cup

NEW YORK - Oct. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Large Victorian sterling silver trophy cup. Made by Charles Stuart Harris in London, 1891-92. Urn body on stepped foot, capped scroll handles, and flared rim. Vertical strapwork with Classical medallion portraits applied to bottom half. Same applied to top of double dome cover. Covered vase finial. Cover interior lightly gilt. Hallmarked.

Trophy is mounted to ebonized wood base with sterling silver band. The band was made in London in 1999.

All parts in excellent condition with nice patina. Very much a first prize.

Dimensions: H (with base): 21 in. H (without base): 16 x W 15 ½ x D 8 ¼ in. Weight (with base): 192.7 troy ounces.
