CHICAGO - Oct. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Entourage Yearbooks announced their 5th Annual National Yearbook Competition awards, recognizing Innovations High School from Chicago, IL with the distinctive High School Photography Honorable Mention award.  The nationally sponsored contest, conducted by Entourage Yearbooks, judged school yearbooks in many facets including creativity, originality, and journalistic relevance.  Hundreds of schools entered across all fifty states at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School level.

"I'd like to offer my sincere congratulations to all of the schools that completed yearbooks and submitted entries into the yearbook contest this year," said Entourage’s President Elias Jo. "Putting together a great yearbook takes a lot of time and dedication.  The award winners represent schools who clearly went above and beyond on their yearbook and deserve recognition for their work.  I'm personally blown away by the level of achievement this year."

This achievement recognized Innovations High School for putting together a notable yearbook at the High School level.  Their entry was submitted at the end of June 2014 and was officially awarded on October 1st, 2014.  The Innovations High School yearbook was selected from hundreds of schools who had submitted entries from around the country.

“The student council at Innovations High School plans, develops, and edits the yearbook.  Staff members, Ms. Merritt and Mr. Wehrmann, lead student council through the creation of the yearbook,” said Matt Wehrmann. “Students worked tirelessly on the yearbook throughout the year.  Student, Damien Gonzalez, submitted several stunning photographs that were featured in the yearbook.  These unique photos focused on students involved in after school clubs.  Damien Gonzalez's distinctive shots added a degree of creativity and professionalism to the 2013 - 2014 Innovations yearbook.”
