About six new HCPCS Level II G codes were released by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and these codes became effective on October 1st. These G codes are helpful to track federal quality health center (FQHC) visits.

For every FQHC visit, they are rewarded an all-inclusive rate (AIR). These visits are billed by the health care professionals.

G0466 – This code is used to mention the one to one meet of the FQHC practitioner and the new patient. During this meet, one or more FQHC services may be reduced and Medicare-covered services can be included.

G0467 – This code is applicable for the face to face encounter between the FQHC practitioner and the established/well-known patient.

G0468 – This medical code is assigned and applicable for those patients who receive the Initial Preventive Physical Examination (IPPE) or Annual Wellness Visit from the federal quality health center practitioner.

G0469 – This is again the code assigned for the meet between new patient and a FQHC practitioner but here a face to face mental health encounter is held among them.

G0470 – This code is just a modification with above G0469 where established patient meets the FQHC practitioner for mental health encounter.
