Appointment of New General Manager at Novotel Century Hong Kong

Cann brings with him over 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has outstanding record in hospitality industry and extensive experience in both resort and city hotels in Asia Pacific including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Cann joined Accor since 2010 commencing with the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific as General Manager. During this time the hotel won the Accor Hotel of the Year in 2012 completing with 200 others hotels in Australia and New Zealand, and Sales Team of the Year in 2013 selling over 20,000 conference room nights.

Cann brings leadership and wealth of experience in hospitality.  He held the position of Executive General Manager Operation at Voyages Hotels and Resort since 2005.  Previously, he was General Manager of Plaza Pacific Hotels and Resorts at Kuala Lumpur. Prior to this, he has held previous senior management roles at Stamford Plaza Auckland and Stamford Plaza Hotel and Resort in Australia.

In his new position, Cann will be responsible for the leadership of the Hotel and the continuing enhancement of Novotel as a strong brand regionally and locally. Backed by the harmonious relationship in the management team of the Group and the Hotel, his appointment will focus on bringing service to a higher level and promoting Novotel Century Hong Kong in line with the new business model of Novotel.

Cann replaces Jerome Stubert who is now the General Manager of Pullman Khao Lak Katiliya Resort and Villas in Thailand.
