Gwendolyn Beck at Washington Institute Near East Policy

MCLEAN, Va. - Oct. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Gwendolyn Beck met with David Makovsky at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy in Washington, DC.

Today, the world is influencing us – we are not influencing the world. And, there is a serious vacuum of leadership. We must maintain a strong national defense to protect our way of life. We must maintain technological superiority. We must keep the upper hand to protect our citizens. And, we must have plans, policies and strategies that make sense. America is tired of prolonged struggles. We are tired of giving lives, sweat and blood for other nations and peoples. Only to then leave and have the country turn away from the freedom and liberty we fought so hard for.

It is time for practical, common sense policy that reflects the current situation in the Middle East.

Israel has been a strong ally and is a focus of stability and democracy in an unstable region.  We need to work with our allies to promote positive change.
