Functional Programming with Scala and Clojure – free training with Framework

LONDON - Oct. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Framework Training are running the first of a series of free half-day instructor-led training sessions exploring the increasingly important field of Functional Programming which includes languages such as Scala, Haskell, F# and Clojure.
When would one use a Functional Programming language like Scala?  One of the key drivers is Concurrency which is becoming more and more important as massively-multi-core processors become widespread and GPUs are increasing used to perform highly parallel operations. Functional programming allows developers to more easily reap the performance increase that Concurrency delivers.
