Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Ebola virus disease, a severe and often fatal illness in humans, is an international health emergency, a devastating and horrifying disease. Thousands have died in the ongoing Ebola epidemic.

Nevada’s faith leaders from various traditions will join together to pray for God’s mercy and for the victims and their loved ones and care providers in Nevada Governor’s Mansion on November 13.

This multi-faith Service will include prayers by Christian (various denominations), Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Baha’i, Native American, etc., religious leaders. It is coordinated by religious statesman Rajan Zed.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, urges religious leaders worldwide to organize multi-faith prayers displaying their unity and whole-hearted support in the international fight against Ebola and seeking divine mercy to halt its spread.

Leaders of diverse religious traditions coming together to pray for a common cause is a remarkable interfaith gesture, Rajan Zed adds.
