Gene Blake, CNM Joins Rhett Women's Center

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Gene Blake, CNM has joined Rhett Women’s Center as a women’s healthcare provider with a focus on comprehensive gynecological care.    Blake received her Master’s in Nursing from MUSC where she was trained in the full scope of women’s healthcare.  Her primary focus at Rhett Women’s Center will be preventive care with an emphasis on healthy aging, routine gynecology, contraceptive management, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

Blake has been caring for women in the Charleston area since 2007.  She promotes a continuous and compassionate partnership with her patients. She states, “As women, our life experiences and knowledge of our own bodies are of utmost importance. Each of these must be considered in developing individualized care of every patient.”   Blake will join Dr. Edmund Rhett and Dr. David Smith at Rhett Women’s Center.   Dr. Rhett states, “Gene Blake is a wonderful addition to our team. She brings experience and knowledge that will enhance the care of patients at Rhett Women’s Center.”

 The facility includes ultrasound capabilities, laboratory services, and a surgery center for non-invasive surgical procedures.
