SARASOTA, Fla. - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- One of the most creative ways to attract home buyers to an open house takes place Sunday, November 2, when well-known Italian tenor and three-time Grammy Award candidate Joe Spinella performs a free concert at the open house of his lakefront home.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at 1155 Tahiti Parkway, located west of Tamiami Trail near Whitaker Bayou in Sarasota. The property is listed for $385,000 by the Menke Kaney Team at RE/MAX Alliance Group.

"We are always looking for ways to make our properties stand out," said Reeny Kaney, the listing agent along with Allison Menke. "When the seller is a famous tenor, what could be more perfect than a free concert at an open house?" The performance will be held on the custom-landscaped grounds. Refreshments will be provided.

The charming lakefront bungalow has 1,686 square feet of air-conditioned space and 2,115 total square feet on an oversized property with two entrances and room for a pool. The three-bedroom, two-bath home features a great room concept, gourmet kitchen with rolling island/bar, and a newly designed backyard garden and entertaining area. The lake is home to a rich array of wildlife such as great blue herons, ducks, egrets and turtles.

The interior has almost every upgrade imaginable including a refaced fireplace front, and new air conditioning, hot water heater, garage door, plumbing, electric, washer and dryer, all with warranties. One of the guest bedrooms has been extended with additional plumbing and a separate entrance, making it suitable for a mother-in-law suite, office or second master bedroom. The back entrance has a one-car garage and two fully powered workshops/studios with new roofs.

Tenor Spinella was considered for a Grammy Award in 2013 in three categories: Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Producer of the Year. He has made numerous appearances, most notably with “The Three World Tenors,” the Israeli Philharmonic under the baton of Zubin Mehta, and the Sarasota Opera. Other guest appearances include the Lake Placid Sinfonietta, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, the Sarasota Orchestra, and multiple appearances with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. He sang for the 1996 Olympic Torch ceremony and created a CD, “Sparks of Fire,” to commemorate the 2000 Olympics and help raise money for the Olympic athletes with the support of Olympic Gold medalist Dan O’Brien. Spinella has performed in the international show, “The Three Waiters,” which won the 2006 Best Entertainment of the Year award.
