Biography

Prior to founding HNINA, a raw vegan gourmet chocolate line, Vanessa Morgenstern-Kenan worked as an international business developer for some of the world’s largest cosmetic and skincare companies. Her experience ranges from Fortune 500 brands like L’Oreal, to wholesale B2B companies like Innovative Skincare. Having earned three Master’s degrees from very prestigious universities located in Paris, France, Vanessa has extensive knowledge in marketing and business development.

In 2010, while pregnant with twins, Vanessa would have strong cravings for dark chocolate. She was looking to indulge in guilt-free treats that were organic, raw, vegan, paleo and healthy, but was unable to find options on the market. Thus, Vanessa opted to make her own and that is how HNINA was founded. Initally, Vanessa would hand make these dark chocolate treats to statisfy her own cravings, but after a while, friends and family would begin making special requests. Through word-of-mouth, Vanessa saw a business opportunity and decided to leave her international career for one in the gourmet chocolate industry. Raising two infants provided a luxurious R&D period to perfect a line of gourmet delicious and healthy truffles of exceptional quality.  By 2013,  HNINA was incorporated.

Since the incorporation, Vanessa had finalized HNINA’s packaging, branding and website. With Vanessa’s strong business expertise, she has already created novel ideas and goals for the HNINA brand. HNINA has since then been proven to be the go-to chocolate for gourmands looking for all-natural and non-GMO options.
