By: Project 150 Project 150 will host a boutique style shopping day for Las Vegas High School Students at Mojave High School. This USA Weekend Make A Difference Day event will include Teen and Family related service agencies onsite to share information. High school students are invited to shop for fashionable new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, school supplies and much more! Students can shop for FREE when they present their student ID. FREE haircuts from SportClips on a first come, first serve basis. Event sponsors include: Mojave High School, Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson, City Of North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee, SportClips and Stanley Steemer. Since then, Project 150 provides food, clothing, school supplies, sports equipment, shoes, and other special requests to over 1,500 homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students. Project 150’s goal is to collaborate with schools and community organizations to maximize resources and allow students to focus in achieving graduation. Project 150 currently serves over 1,500 homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged students at 34 high schools in Southern Nevada and one in Reno. End
