October is National Cyber Security Awareness month and the School of Professional Studies would like to invite you to join Elmhurst professor Dr. Jim Dauer for a 90 minute Lunch & Learn to discover how to protect your business from the ever-growing issue of cybercrime.

Topics will range from the variety of methods data thieves use to steal confidential information from businesses and ways to protect yourself. Admission includes a box lunch. Payment must be made by cash or check the day of the event; credit cards are not accepted.

Dr. Dauer is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems teaching courses in business intelligence, decision support systems, applied statistics and management information systems. Dr. Dauer has been a consultant to major US corporations, has authored numerous articles in mathematical modeling and artificial intelligence and has presented papers in both areas at national and international conferences.
